There’s a short stretch of JP Rizal St. just off the Shoe Museum in San Roque, Marikina lined with stalls selling an incredible array of Tagalog/Marikina and other native/Filipino delicacies. You can find delightful treats such as putong Pulo or puto Marikina, distinctive because of its atsuete coloring, and a dish called Everlasting, which is basically an embutido (meat loaf) prepared in a llanera as you can see in the photo below.

This place is an incredible feast to the eyes and taste to visit!
